Radio-to-PC, Radio-to-Remote Console, and Radio-to-Radio Interoperability

Pushing a ButtonARINC knows it’s more important than ever for airlines to centralize their dispatch capabilities, boosting operational efficiency and reducing costs by achieving more with the communications technologies they already have. That is exactly why ARINC developed PASSage—Land Mobile Radio (LMR) interoperability that enables all ground operations personnel to freely communicate whether using radio, phone, Voice over IP (VoIP), or Push-To-Talk (PTT).

Flexible communications are at the very core of success for airlines today. Imagine dispatchers and ramp supervisors at different airports being able to talk to each other at the push of a button. With PASSage you can connect two or more communications channels together regardless of technology, creating a completely interoperable network—without the need for any upfront capital investment or ongoing maintenance costs.

Leveraging the proven ARINC Wireless Interoperable Network Solutions (AWINS) platform, PASSage connects virtually all of your voice communications devices using LMR gateways. It simply adapts LMR audio and signaling to Internet Protocol (IP) and transmits it over secure, private networks that give users the versatility they need to maximize communications efficiency.

ARINC will install a PC-based console outfitted with an easy-to-use application that depicts available communication channels. At the touch of a finger, you can interconnect any communications devices on the network.
